Inspired by the gently evocative style of classic Postgate programmes, we produced a timeless, trotting soft pop theme song.
Yury’s Journey is an, as yet unrealised, adventure-comedy for viewers in late childhood. A modern day Petit Prince, Yuri’s adventures introduces kids to people they’ll meet in their lives: Friends, bullies, heroes, liars, sleazes, geezers and clowns. And to situations they’ll encounter: Poor, rich, rejected, lonely, gleeful, excited, afraid.

Greg came to us with a clean slate, offering only a few words on the general effect the theme should create: "a looping, ambling beat, driving ever forward". It was important to him that we did not coddle our audience. While largely optimistic, a couple of crunchy jazz chords nod to Yury’s darker discoveries.
