pops ‘n’ what-nots
We all know Instagram, Meta’s photo and video sharing service with 2.5 billion users. We gave its in-app explainers some life and humour with tactile, cartoony pops & what-nots.
These in-app videos, served to all new signups, function as both promotion and tutorial for the Stories and Feed functionalities. We incorporated playful character sounds to highlight the wacky action and designed a set of app audio feedback effects that accentuate the UI elements.
Meta approached Skillbard to help engage and inspire new users of all ages—but especially teens—to create new Boomerang, Real Video, Superzoom, and Feed posts.
